Injectable Solution (Marbofloxacin 100 mg/ml)

An effective antibacterial product with high bioavailability for the treatment of bacterial infections in cattle and swine.

COMPOSITION

1 ml of the product contains:
• Marbofloxacin — 100 mg

INDICATIONS FOR USE

Cattle

• • Respiratory diseases caused by Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia haemolytica, Histophilus somni
    • Acute mastitis caused by Escherichia coli

Swine

• • Metritis–mastitis–agalactia (MMA) syndrome
    • Respiratory infections sensitive to marbofloxacin

ADMINISTRATION

Administer intramuscularly, subcutaneously, or intravenously (depending on indication).

Dosage is determined according to body weight and clinical condition.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

Cattle

• • Meat — 3 to 6 days
    • Milk — 36 to 72 hours

Swine

• • Meat — 4 days

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• • Hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolones
    • Known resistance of the pathogen to fluoroquinolones

Use in pregnant animals only after a benefit–risk assessment by a veterinarian.

STORAGE

Store in a dry, dark place at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.
After opening, use within 28 days (store at +2 to +8°C).
