Intramammary Product for Effective Treatment of Mastitis During Lactation
BRIEF PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
CEFA-MILK FORTE is a combined intramammary formulation with dual antibacterial activity, enhanced by anti-inflammatory action and tissue regeneration support.An optimal solution for the treatment of acute mastitis without interruption of lactation.
COMPOSITION (per 1 syringe-tube, 10 ml):
• Cephalexin monohydrate — 200 mg
• Gentamicin sulfate — 100 mg
• Dexamethasone — 0.75 mg
• Vitamin A — 10,000 IUExcipients: chlorobutanol, butylated hydroxytoluene, white paraffin, peanut oil.

How CEFA-MILK FORTE Works

Broad antibacterial spectrum
The combination of cephalexin and gentamicin is effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative mastitis pathogens (Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, E. coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, Salmonella).

Reduction of inflammation and edema
Dexamethasone rapidly reduces inflammatory response, pain, and udder hyperemia.

Regeneration of mammary tissue
Vitamin A supports epithelial regeneration and tissue protection following infection.

INDICATIONS FOR USE:
Treatment of acute bacterial mastitis in lactating cows, sheep, and goats caused by microorganisms susceptible to the active ingredients.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Administer intramammarily after complete milking and teat disinfection.

Cows:
• 1 syringe-tube per affected quarter
• Every 12–24 hours
• Course — 2 days or until clinical recovery

Sheep and goats:
• ½ syringe-tube per affected quarter
• Every 12–24 hours
• Course — 2 days or until recoveryAfter administration, gently massage the treated quarter to ensure uniform distribution.

DUO-CAP — Controlled Insertion Depth

The syringe-tube is equipped with a DUO-CAP system allowing:
• Partial insertion (teat sphincter area);
• Full insertion into the teat canal.This reduces the risk of injury and improves treatment effectiveness.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
• Milk — 3 days
• Meat — 21 daysUntil the end of the withdrawal period, products should be fed to non-productive animals or discarded according to veterinary recommendations.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
• Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins
• Do not use concurrently with NSAIDs or glucocorticoids
• Discontinue treatment in case of adverse reactions

10 ml polymer syringe-tubes:
• Carton boxes of 24 units
• Plastic containers of 48 units

STORAGE CONDITIONS:
Store in a dry, dark place out of reach of children.
Storage temperature: 15°C to 30°C

SHELF LIFE:
3 years.
