Suspension for oral administration
THE SECRET OF ALBENDAZOLE MICRONIZATION
•Broad spectrum of action:
−nematodes;
−cestodes;
−trematodes.
•Low toxicity.
•Thanks to the filler and micronization
of albendazole, rapid resuspension
and long-term sedimentation.
•Can be used in solution (drinking).
•Always a clearly measured dose – the result is effective treatment.
Ingredients:
1 ml of the drug contains:
Albendazole – 100 mg.
Purpose:
Cattle.
Prevention and treatment of sexually mature, larval infestations and helminth eggs of various localizations:
Gastrointestinal nematodes: Haemonchus contortus, Ostertagia ostertagi, Trichostrongylus axei, Trichostrongylus colubriformis, Cooperia oncophora, Oesophagostomum radiatum, Nematodirus helvetianus.
Pulmonary nematodes: Dictyocaulus viviparus.
Cestodes (tapeworms): Moniezia expansa.
Liver trematodes: Fasciola hepatica (mature forms).
Key points for prescribing the drug:
Before the vaccination program.
When animal productivity decreases due to parasite levels.
New animals: prescribe to newly arrived animals.
Calves: administer one and a half months after turning out to pasture, repeat every one and a half months.
Adult cattle: in the fall before transferring to stall housing. For diarrhea caused by Ostertagia spp., treatment should be carried out in two stages with an interval of four days between doses. Repeat in spring and summer.
Dosage and method of administration:
Cattle: administered in a single dose:
0.75 ml of Albendazole 10% per 10 kg of body weight in case of infection with gastrointestinal, pulmonary nematodes, and cestodes.
1 ml of Albendazole 10% per 10 kg of body weight in case of infection with trematodes (Fasciola spp.).
Prescribe individually for each animal. Use standard instruments to administer the drug as deep as possible into the animal’s mouth.
Recommendations for use:
Shake well before use.
Withdrawal period (waiting period):
Meat — 14 days.
Milk — 4 days (8 milkings).
Storage:
Store in a dry place protected from light at a temperature between +5°C and +25°C.
Expiration date:
3 years from the date of manufacture.
Form of release:
1 liter bottle.
