Composition
100 ml of the medicine contains the active substance: doramectin — 1.00 g.
Indications for use
Treatment and prevention of cattle, sheep, goats, camels, pigs for parasitic diseases caused by nematodes and ectoparasites:
Cattle: gastrointestinal nematodes (adults and larvae), lung nematodes (adults and larvae), eye helminths (adults), subcutaneous vegetable larvae, lice, scabies mites;
Sheep, goats, camels: gastrointestinal nematodes (adults and larvae), lung nematodes (adults and larvae), scabies mites;
Pigs: gastrointestinal nematodes (adults and larvae), lung nematodes (adults and larvae), kidney helminths, scabies mites.
Invasive diseases are caused by the following parasites:
Endoparasites:
• Gastrointestinal nematodes (adults and larvae): Haemonchus spp., Ostertagia ostertagi (adults, L3, L4), O.lyrata (adults and L4), O.circumcinta, O. trifurcata, Trichostrongylus spp. (adults and L4), Cooperia oncophora (mature and L4), Cooperia punctata (mature and L4), Cooperia pectinata (mature and L4), Cooperia curticei, Haemonchusplacei, H. controtus, Bunostomum spp. (adults, L3 and L4), Oesophagostomum radiatum (adults, L3 and L4), O. columbianum, O. venosum, Capillaria spp., Strongyloides papillosus (adults), Nematodirus helvetianus, N. spathiger (adults), Ascaris suum, Hyostrongylus rubidus, Oesophagostomum dentatum, O. quadrispinulatum, Trichuris suis, Strongyloides ramsoni (adults), Toxocara vitulorum (adults), Trichostrongylus axei (adults and L4), T. colubriiformis (adults and L4), Trichuris spp., Mecistocirrus digitatus (adults), Thelazia spp. Nematodirus lamae and Lamanema chavezi, Graphinema spp., Spiculopteragia spp. and Camelostrongylus spp.
Pulmonary helminths: Dyctiocaulus viviparus and D. filarial (adults and L4), Metastrongylus.
• Renal parasites: Stephanurus dentatus.
Ectoparasites:
• Larval stages of dipterous flying insects: Dermatobia hominis, Hypoderma bovis, H. lineatum, Cochliomyiahominivorax, Oestrusovis.
• Lice: Linognatus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus, H. suis, Bov?cola spp., Damalinea bovis, D. aucheniae.
• Acariform mites: Psoroptes bovis, Sarcoptesscabieivar. bovis, Chorioptes bovis, Demodex spp., Psoroptesaucheniae.
• Parasitiform mites: Boophilus microplus, Amblyomma parvitarsum.
Pharmacological properties
The active substance of the drug doramectin is a macrocyclic lactone, a semi-synthetic derivative of the avermectin group. Single administration of the drug reliably protects animals from nematodes and insects. It is easily resorbed from the injection site, acts with high efficiency and does not have a negative effect on the animal’s body. The pharmacokinetic features of doramectin ensure the preservation of therapeutic concentrations of the drug in the blood of animals and protect against reinvasion for a long time. The prolonged effect is twice as long compared to other drugs that contain ivermectins.
The drug Doramek L.A. has a detrimental effect against nematodes: Oesophagostomum, Ostertagia, Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, Bunostomum, Strongyloides, Trichuris, Dictyocaulus; insects: Thelazia, Hypoderma, Haematopinus, Linognathus, Solenopotes, Psorpotes, Sarcoptes and other parasites. By binding to specific receptors, doramectin increases the permeability of synaptic membranes to chlorine ions, leading to a blockade of the electrical activity of neuromuscular cells in nematodes and arthropods, leading to paralysis and parasite death. In mammals, these receptors are localized only in the central nervous system, and doramectin does not penetrate the blood-encephalic bar?yer, therefore, in the recommended doses, it is safe for mammals.
Dosage
Recommended doses of Doramek L.A.: Cattle: 1 ml/50 kg body weight, single dose, subcutaneous in the neck area; Sheep, goats, camels: 1 ml/50 kg body weight, single dose, intramuscular; Pigs: 1 ml/33 kg body weight, single dose, intramuscular. If the dose is more than 10 ml, it is recommended to divide it and inject it in two places.
Withdrawal period
Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 50 days after the last use of the drug.
Reservation
The drug should not be used in females during lactation if milk is used for human food.
Do not use the drug in pregnant cows and heifers 60 days before the distillation.
For pregnant and lactating sows, there are no warnings about the use of the drug.

3 years. A dry, dark place inaccessible to children at a temperature of 8 to 30° C.
