- Description
Description
Actisaf ® Sc 47 STD
Actisaf® Sc 47 STD is a concentrate of live yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae,
produced in microspherical form (Lesaffre’s own strain: NCYC Sc 47/ CNCM I-4407).
This unique microspherical form of Actisaf® Sc 47 has been developed to provide
the product with its own thermal stability without the need for any external coating.
Actisaf® Sc 47 STD is intended for inclusion in non-pelleted or pelleted feed due
to its stability at temperatures up to 83 °C.

Actisaf® Sc 47 provides compatibility with a wide range of feeds,
ensuring consistent resistance to the cumulative effects of multiple stress factors,
including heat, moisture, compression, and friction associated with modern
pelleting processes and compatibility with other feed ingredients, such as acids.
The resistance of our yeast probiotic to increasing pelleting constraints ensures
its survival and benefits in terms of animal performance.
The addition of Actisaf® Sc 47 to animal feed has been shown to improve
animal performance by improving the rumen/intestinal microbiota biotope.
This not only improves feed digestibility and energy supply, but also the overall
health and well-being of animals, even under challenging conditions (heat stress,
feed transition, etc.).
Actisaf® Sc 47 helps optimize herd management to ensure full genetic potential,
improving breeding efficiency and profitability in today’s farming environment,
where sustainability is highly valued.

Mode of action:
Ruminants
Strengthens the regenerative capacity of the rumen:
Increases the number of bacteria that utilize lactate
Increases the number of cellulolytic bacteria
Raises the pH of the rumen by reducing the concentration of lactic acid
Pigs
Modifies and stabilizes the microflora population
Increases the production of volatile fatty acids
Limits the reproduction of pathogens and adhesion to enterocytes
Modulates the inflammatory response
Reduces the spread of E. coli
Horses
modifies the microflora population in the cecum
limits excessive production and accumulation of lactic acid in the cecum
Rabbits
improves the balance of microflora in the cecum
Packaging and storage conditions:
25 kg polyethylene bag – polyethylene bag in 5 kg corrugated cardboard boxes.
Shelf life: 1 year from the date of manufacture, in the original packaging.
Store in a dry, cool place for optimal preservation of properties.
