DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

For intramuscular use only.

Cows

• • Recommended dose: 2 ml (0.150 mg cloprostenol)
    • Weak estrus signs, induction and synchronization — after confirmation of corpus luteum
    • Induction of parturition — from day 270 of gestation
    • Estrus synchronization — two injections at an 11-day interval
    • Functional ovarian disorders — after confirmation of persistent corpus luteum
    • Endometritis, pyometra — single administration; repeat after 10 days if necessary
    • Termination of pregnancy — in the first half
    • Fetal mummification — single administration
    • Postpartum uterine disorders — single administration; repeat 1–2 times if necessary
    • Follicular cysts — not earlier than 10–14 days after administration of hCG or LHRH

Mares

• • Recommended dose: 1 ml (0.075 mg cloprostenol)
    • Estrus induction — after confirmation of corpus luteum
    • Induction of parturition — from day 320 of gestation
    • Breeding protocol — two injections at a 14-day interval; insemination on days 19 and 21 after the first injection
    • Prolonged inter-estrus intervals — to restore the estrous cycle
    • Termination of pseudopregnancy
    • Absence of estrus during lactation — on days 20–22 postpartum
    • Early embryonic mortality — upon confirmation of corpus luteum

Sows

• • Recommended dose: 1 ml (0.075 mg cloprostenol)
    • Induction of parturition — from day 112 of gestation

INTERACTIONS

• • Do not use concurrently with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
    • May enhance the effect of other uterotonic agents

WARNINGS

• • Do not use in pregnant females except for induction of parturition or abortion
    • Do not use in mares with respiratory or gastrointestinal disorders

STORAGE

Store in a dry place protected from light at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.
