EFFECTIVE TREATMENT FOR RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS

COMPOSITION:
1 g of the product contains:

- Doxycycline (hyclate) — 750 mg
- Excipient: lactose monohydrate
INDICATIONS:
Calves (4 to 8 weeks of age), pigs, poultry:
-
- Treatment of septicemia and respiratory infections caused by Pasteurella multocida, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.
- Treatment of gastrointestinal infections (colibacillosis, salmonellosis) and urinary tract infections.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES:
Doxycycline is a second-generation tetracycline antibiotic. It is a bacteriostatic agent with a broad spectrum of activity, effective against:

- Gram-positive bacteria: Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Corynebacterium spp.
- Gram-negative bacteria: Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Pasteurella spp., Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Bordetella bronchiseptica.
- Mycoplasma, rickettsiae, and chlamydiae.
The product inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, thereby preventing bacterial growth and replication.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Pigs:
-
- 10–14 mg of product per 1 kg body weight per day (equivalent to 7.5–10.5 mg doxycycline per 1 kg body weight) for 5 days.
Calves (4–8 weeks):
-
- 14 mg of product per 1 kg body weight per day, divided into two doses at 12-hour intervals, for 3 days.
Chicks, broilers:
-
- 14 mg of product per 1 kg body weight per day for 3–5 days.
For group administration, calculate the dose using the formula:
(A × B × C) / 1000 = g per L
Where:
A — dose of the product (mg/kg)
B — average body weight (kg)
C — number of animals
D — total daily water consumption (L)
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
-
- Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines.
- Do not use in laying hens and turkeys producing eggs for human consumption.
- Do not administer to animals with impaired liver function.
- Do not use concurrently with antacids or products containing iron, magnesium, calcium, or aluminum, or with penicillins and cephalosporins.
WARNINGS:

- Overdose may cause dysbiosis and digestive disorders.
- It is important to use the product according to the recommended dosage to prevent adverse effects.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:

- Personnel handling the product should use protective equipment (gloves, respirator) to avoid direct skin contact and inhalation.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
-
- Pigs and poultry: meat — 5 days
- Calves: meat — 14 days
STORAGE:
Store in a dry, dark place at temperatures between +15°C and +30°C.
SHELF LIFE:
-
- 4 years from the date of manufacture.
- Use within 28 days after first opening.
- After dilution in water — 24 hours.
