INDICATIONS
For swine and poultry.
Betamint is used as an anti-stress supplement and for correction of water–electrolyte balance during heat stress in poultry and swine in hot seasons (elevated temperature and humidity in housing facilities).

- Prevention of electrolyte imbalance, acid–base disorders, protein, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism disturbances, fatty liver degeneration, decreased productivity, and structural changes of the gastrointestinal mucosa during heat stress.
• Recommended for prevention of transport stress syndrome (live weight loss during transportation, hematomas, bruises, fractures).
• Improves sow fertility and promotes weight gain in young animals.
- Prevention of electrolyte imbalance, acid–base disorders, protein, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism disturbances, fatty liver degeneration, decreased productivity, and structural changes of the gastrointestinal mucosa during heat stress.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

- Poultry (prevention of heat and transport stress):
Dissolve 1 L of Betamint in 1000 L of drinking water and administer for 3–5 days at the onset of hot weather and before transportation.
During prolonged heat periods:
Dissolve 2 L of Betamint in 1000 L of water and administer for 5 days.
If heat stress symptoms are pronounced (depression, elevated body temperature, panting, rapid shallow breathing, reduced appetite and productivity, increased hematocrit, erythrocytes and total protein), continue administration.

- Sows:
During summer, administer continuously in courses of 5–7 days with 14–20 day intervals between courses.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
None.
STORAGE
Store in a dry, dark place at temperatures between 0°C and 25°C.
SHELF LIFE
