Composition
1 liter of the product contains: betaine — 250 g; vitamin C — 90 g; potassium chloride — 2 g; magnesium chloride hexahydrate — 4 g; calcium chloride dihydrate — 40 g; sodium chloride — 20 g; excipients.
Purpose
Pigs, poultry. Betamint is used as an anti-stress supplement and to correct water and electrolyte metabolism during periods of heat stress in poultry and pigs during hot periods of the year (increased temperature and humidity in the room). Prevention of electrolyte metabolism disorders, acid-base balance, protein, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, fatty liver dystrophy, prevention of decreased productivity, structural changes in the mucous membranes of the digestive tract during heat stress. Recommended for the prevention of transport stress syndrome (loss of live weight during transport, hematomas, bruises, fractures). The supplement increases the fertility of sows and weight gain in young animals.
Dosage and method of application
Prevention of heat and transport stress in poultry: Dissolve 1 liter of Betamint in 1000 liters of drinking water and use for 3–5 days at the beginning of hot days and before transportation. During prolonged heat, dissolve 2 liters of Betamint in 1000 liters of drinking water and use for 5 days. If symptoms of heat stress are severe (depression of poultry, elevated body temperature, shortness of breath, frequent shallow breathing, decreased appetite and productivity, increased hematocrit, red blood cell count, and total protein), continue using the supplement. For sows, use continuously during the summer, in courses of 5–7 days with a break of 14–20 days between courses.
