COMPOSITION:
1 ml of the product contains:
• Ketoprofen — 100 mg
Excipients:
o Benzyl alcohol — 10 mg
o L-arginine — 70 mg
o Citric acid monohydrate (for pH adjustment to 6.3–7.7)
o Water for injection — up to 1 ml
INDICATIONS:
-
- Cattle: Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic agent for respiratory diseases, mastitis, and inflammatory processes of the musculoskeletal system.
- Horses: Treatment of inflammatory and painful conditions associated with musculoskeletal disorders, lameness, arthritis, arthrosis, fractures, tendinitis, post-surgical inflammation, and symptomatic treatment of colic.
- Swine: Anti-inflammatory therapy for MMA syndrome (metritis-mastitis-agalactia), respiratory infections, and musculoskeletal disorders.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES:
• Ketoprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits the cyclooxygenase enzyme, reducing the production of prostaglandins responsible for inflammation and pain.
• Bioavailability: maximum blood concentration is reached 30 minutes after administration.
• The product has low toxicity and no cumulative effect.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Cattle:
• Intravenously or intramuscularly: 3 mg ketoprofen/kg body weight (1 ml/33 kg) once daily for 3 days.
Horses:
• Intravenously: 2.2 mg ketoprofen/kg body weight (1 ml/45 kg) once daily for 3–5 days.
• For symptomatic treatment of colic — single administration.
Swine:
• Intramuscularly: 3 mg ketoprofen/kg body weight (1 ml/33 kg) once daily for 3 days.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
• Milk: No withdrawal period.

o Cattle: 4 days after the last administration.
o Swine: 4 days.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
• Hypersensitivity to the components of the product.
• Do not use in cases of gastric or duodenal ulcers, renal insufficiency, or cardiac arrhythmias.
• Do not use simultaneously with other NSAIDs, glucocorticoids, or anticoagulants.
ADVERSE EFFECTS:
• Possible irritation at the injection site.
• Rarely, allergic reactions, fever, or tachycardia may occur.
SPECIAL WARNINGS:
• Avoid use in animals prone to dehydration or with low blood pressure.
• After administration, monitor heart rate and the general condition of the animal.
SHELF LIFE:
• 3 years from the date of manufacture.
• After first opening — 7 days.
