PRODUCT ADVANTAGES:
– Highly effective against inflammatory and painful conditions.
– Flexible administration: can be administered intramuscularly and intravenously.

COMPOSITION:
1 mL of the product contains:
– Ketoprofen — 100 mg
Excipients: benzyl alcohol, L-arginine, anhydrous citric acid, water for injections.

INDICATIONS:
For Cattle:
– An anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic agent for inflammatory conditions associated with respiratory diseases, mastitis, mammary gland edema, and musculoskeletal disorders.
For Horses:
– Treatment of inflammatory and painful conditions associated with musculoskeletal diseases, arthritis, arthrosis, fractures, ligament injuries, synovitis, and lameness, as well as symptomatic treatment of colic.
For Pigs:
– Anti-inflammatory therapy for metritis-mastitis-agalactia (MMA) syndrome, musculoskeletal disorders, and respiratory infections.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES:
– Ketoprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits the cyclooxygenase enzyme, thereby preventing the production of prostaglandins that contribute to inflammation and pain.
– High efficacy following intramuscular administration, with maximum blood concentration reached within 30 minutes and therapeutic levels maintained for up to 24 hours.
– Primarily excreted through the kidneys.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Cattle:
– Intravenously or intramuscularly: 3 mg/kg body weight (1 mL/33 kg) once daily for 3 days.

Horses:
– Intravenously: 2.2 mg/kg body weight (1 mL/45 kg) once daily for 3–5 days.
Additional injections should only be administered following a repeat clinical examination of the animal by a veterinarian.

Pigs:
– Intramuscularly: 3 mg/kg body weight (1 mL/33 kg) once daily for 3 days.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
– Meat:
– Cattle: 1 day after the last administration (intravenous).
– Pigs and cattle: 2 days after intramuscular administration. Before the specified withdrawal period has elapsed, the meat must either be fed to non-food-producing animals or disposed of, depending on the veterinarian’s assessment.
– Milk: No withdrawal period required!

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
– Hypersensitivity to any component of the product.
– Contraindicated in animals with gastric ulcers, renal insufficiency, or hepatic insufficiency.
– Do not administer concurrently with other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), glucocorticoids, anticoagulants, or diuretics.
– Do not use in foals under 15 days of age, pregnant mares, or horses intended for food production.

ADVERSE EFFECTS:
– Irritation at the injection site may occur.
– Allergic reactions are rare.
– Increased body temperature, tachycardia, and cardiovascular dysfunction may occur due to rapid administration of the product.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE:
– Personnel handling the product must observe basic hygiene practices.
– In case of contact with the eyes or skin, rinse thoroughly with water.
– Seek medical attention if an allergic reaction occurs.

SHELF LIFE:
– 3 years from the date of manufacture.
– After first opening: 28 days.

PACKAGING:
Glass vials containing 100 mL each.
