Solution for Injection
PRODUCT ADVANTAGES:
• Highly active in inflammatory and pain conditions.
• Flexible use: may be administered intramuscularly, subcutaneously, or intravenously.

COMPOSITION:
1 ml of the product contains:
• Ketoprofen — 100 mg
Excipients: benzyl alcohol, L-arginine, anhydrous citric acid, water for injection.
INDICATIONS:
Cattle:
• Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic agent for inflammatory conditions caused by respiratory diseases, mastitis, udder edema, and musculoskeletal disorders.
Horses:
• Treatment of inflammatory and painful conditions associated with musculoskeletal disorders, arthritis, arthrosis, fractures, ligament injuries, synovitis, lameness, and symptomatic treatment of colic.
Swine:
• Anti-inflammatory therapy for metritis-mastitis-agalactia (MMA) syndrome, musculoskeletal disorders, and respiratory infections.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES:
• Ketoprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits the cyclooxygenase enzyme, preventing the production of prostaglandins responsible for inflammation and pain.
• Highly effective when administered intramuscularly; maximum blood concentration is reached within 30 minutes, and therapeutic levels are maintained for up to 24 hours.
• Primarily excreted via the kidneys.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Cattle:
• Intravenously or intramuscularly: 3 mg/kg body weight (1 ml/33 kg) once daily for 3 days.
Horses:
• Intravenously: 2.2 mg/kg body weight (1 ml/45 kg) once daily for 3–5 days.
Swine:
• Intramuscularly: 3 mg/kg body weight (1 ml/33 kg) once daily for 3 days.
Dogs and Cats:
• 0.1 ml per 1 kg body weight daily for 5 days.
If necessary, the product may be re-administered after 6–8 hours to relieve the animal’s condition.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

- Meat:
o Cattle: 1 day after the last intravenous administration.
o Swine: 4 days after the last intramuscular administration. - Milk: may be used for human consumption 1 day after the last administration.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
• Hypersensitivity to the components of the product.
• Contraindicated in cases of gastric ulcer, renal or hepatic insufficiency.
• Do not use simultaneously with other NSAIDs, glucocorticoids, anticoagulants, or diuretics.
• Do not use in foals under 15 days of age, pregnant mares, or performance horses.
ADVERSE EFFECTS:
• Possible irritation at the injection site.
• Allergic reactions are rare.
• Fever, tachycardia, and cardiovascular disturbances may occur due to rapid administration.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE:
• Personnel handling the product should follow basic hygiene rules.
• In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Seek medical attention in case of an allergic reaction.
SHELF LIFE:
• 3 years from the date of manufacture.
• After first opening — 28 days.
PRESENTATION:
• 100 ml glass vials.
