•Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent with analgesic and antipyretic properties.

•Ketink reduces elevated temperature almost instantly, restores metabolism, and shortens unproductive periods.

•Ketoprofen has shown high efficacy in restoring milk production in cows with acute mastitis (more than in all cases where the drug was not used).

Composition

1 ml of the drug contains: ketoprofen — 100 mg.

Excipients:

benzyl alcohol — 10 mg,
arginine — 70 mg,
citric acid monohydrate (for pH correction 6.3-7.7),
L-arginine,
water for injection — up to 1 ml.

Purpose

Cattle. Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic drug for the treatment of inflammatory processes caused by diseases of the respiratory system, edema of the mammary glands, acute mastitis, inflammatory processes in the musculoskeletal system.
Horses. Treatment of inflammatory and painful conditions in diseases of the musculoskeletal system, in particular: lameness of traumatic origin, arthritis, arthrosis, joint injuries (ligament sprains, synovitis), fractures, tendinitis, hoof lesions (pododermatitis, lameness), post-surgical inflammation. Symptomatic treatment of colic.
Pigs. Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic therapy for MMA syndrome, treatment of inflammatory and painful conditions in diseases of the musculoskeletal system; for respiratory infections.

Dosage and method of administration

Cattle: intravenously or intramuscularly. Administer 3 mg of ketoprofen/kg of body weight (equivalent to 3 ml of Ketink/100 kg of body weight) once daily for 1–3 days.
Horses: intravenously. For the treatment of bone and joint lesions, as well as the musculoskeletal system, administer 2.2 mg of ketoprofen/kg of body weight (equivalent to 1 ml of Ketink/45 kg of body weight) once daily for 3–5 days. For symptomatic treatment of colic, administer 2.2 mg of ketoprofen/kg of live weight (equivalent to 1 ml of Ketink/45 kg of body weight) once. Additional injections — only after a repeat clinical examination of the animal by a veterinarian.
Pigs: intramuscularly. Administer 3 mg of ketoprofen/kg of body weight once daily for 1–3 days (equivalent to 3 ml of Ketink/100 kg of body weight).

Withdrawal period (waiting period)

Milk — none. Meat — 4 days.

Storage

Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature between 5ºC and 25ºC.

Shelf life

2 years from the date of manufacture. The shelf life of an opened vial is 7 days.

Form of release

Vials of 100 and 250 ml.
